adoptivemommy Posted May 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2015 I am hoping for a good sale before We sail I. September to switch to the balcony guarantee pool. What's the best price you have seen? We are currently in a 4J. Pre tax/gratuities/ port fees we are currently at $868 for two of us plus $50 OBC.
jpennin217 Posted May 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I don't know about the lowest price on a balcony to book but we got an up sale call the last time we sailed the Liberty and went from an inside to a balcony for $200. It was $1098 total for two. Maybe you will get a call.
mrsfuzzmo Posted May 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2015 $75 per person. (But I'm a travel agent and that was a special promo). I think at regular rates for a balcony, including port charges and taxes, about $900 pp. I wouldn't think you'd get much lower than you have right now. belkin Posted May 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I don't remember if this is my best deal but it is one of my favorites. A balcony cabin on the Breeze 8 days for $479 then paid for it with gift cards purchased at 10% discount.
CruisinDrunkInLuv Posted May 26, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I was booked on the Sunshine for an Inside Deck 8 cabin but the dates didn't work out so we had to switch to the Glory and scored a balcony for less than the inside. $489 per person So 978 before port fees/taxes/grats of course. It was an Guaranteed Balcony offer and we ended up Midship Deck 8 anyway :)

My spa balcony cabin on Magic is down to $814 p/p and came with $50 obc & spa privilege - not too shabby.
Lurkyloo Posted June 8, 2015 #17 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Wow - so jealous of all of you! I have never gotten a bargain to be honest - I don't think we have ever paid less then $1500 for a standard balcony on a 7 day cruise. But I always pick my cabin so that is probably why, have never gone guarantee because I want what I want... Wish I was more of a free spirit! :D
TheTexans Posted June 8, 2015 #18 Share Posted June 8, 2015 $120 ($60 per person) but this was a casino rate. We also received $100 onboard credit. (Taxes and port fees weren't included so grand total was $414.62 unless you count the OBC and then it was $314.62.)
Max49 Posted June 8, 2015 #19 Share Posted June 8, 2015 How do you guys find these ridiculously cheap deals? Seems like everybody beat the guy who posted above him. All the 7 nite balconies I find are about $800 ++++ PP

All the 7 nite balconies I find are about $800 ++++ PP I found out my now abusive ex-husband was cheating and I had a GREAT time in the casino. I won over $5,000 but only left the ship with $1,200. Now, CCL sends me all kinds of great prices. So essentially, I paid for a few cruises with the money I went through.
Weeziblu Posted June 8, 2015 #21 Share Posted June 8, 2015 How do you guys find these ridiculously cheap deals? Seems like everybody beat the guy who posted above him. All the 7 nite balconies I find are about $800 ++++ PP I think that prices will vary widely across seasons, ships and special VIPF rates and sales. Plus, those casino deals are spectacular because the assumption is that they will spend the difference in the casino onboard (and often do). kelkel2 Posted June 8, 2015 #22 Share Posted June 8, 2015 649/pp on liberty L shaped 8B back in 2013. This year we booked a guarantee on vista for a 6 day for 549.

evandbob Posted June 8, 2015 #25 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I'm not sure what the purpose of this exercise is. If your only criteria is budget pricing, then it might matter. There are so many variables, the ship, the season, the deck, the type of balcony, that comparisions are basically useless. Unless you are out to prove that Carnival is the Walmart of the seas, what is the point of this post?
