Has anyone confirmed if inside cabins qualify for ultimate? I will be booking my next cruise onboard my upcoming. I would like to come prepared to the PCC

there's been conflicting reports about CR Ultimate:

- one person talked to the people on the cruise.

- another person talked to ncl corporate.

one said CR Ultimate is on top of whatever the current promo is.

the other person said CR Ultimate is whatever the current promo is and there's no advantage to booking while on the ship.

which said which I don't remember.

edit:

after you sail, please report back your findings

We had this on the Breakaway in april to Bermuda. We purchased the cruise credits and booked two cruises while onboard with the guy who was onboard for the "special" they were doing.

We got great pricing, the old beverage package, and some onboard credit for the booked cruises.

We do use a cruise travel agency for certain cruises but these are just thru NCL.

When I call CAS they always put me on hold and check my play on the last cruise I took. If I'm on this cruise, from the play of my last cruise, how can they check what I'm eligible for UNTIL I finish the cruise I'm currently on?

Harriet

My CAS cruises are not a result of play on NCL, they are part of promotions from land based casinos booked via the CAS travel agency. I think the prior poster is referring to those cruises. Now those do say I have to call a specific number to book, but I guess someone will just have to try it to see if they can booked onboard.

We always book directly with NCL. No need to add a third party in the middle of things to complicate matters. NCL absolutely gets us the best possible deal without getting anyone else involved anyway.

I would miss the $500 or so we get from our agent...

So... if I understand this correctly, if you have a Cruise Reward which was purchase on a previous cruise, you cannot use it as the deposit for the CruiseNext option on the ship. I do not know what "CAS", which many of you have referenced, refers to.

Can you apply the certificate you purchase on board on a cruise on a future cruise you have ALREADY booked as an additional deposit?

Will be cruising in summer of 2016 and planning on reserving either one or two cruises in 2017 within the next week.

The deposit is the money required to secure the reservation at the time of booking. There is no such thing as an additional deposit.

The deposit is the deposit. Anything you pay after the deposit is simply another payment toward the final balance.

Understood. So, can you apply the certificate as an additional payment to an existing reservation that was made prior to the cruise where the certificate was purchased?

Thanks.

Yes, but it must be the only certificate used on that booking.

Great. So, one certificate only per booking? Even if the booking was made before the certificate was purchased?

Appreciate the response. That means we can purchase some for our future cruises the next time we sail.

I too am curious. I have a Thanksgiving 2016 Suite booked and need to book an interior as well. On my Thanksgiving 2015 sailing I can buy 2 of these and apply one to my existing booking?

The other to the inside and still get the 3/4 free and a perk?
