Waitlist for Dinner

We will possibly be booking the Allure for December 2015. I noticed that MTD and the early seating are unavailable, but I can choose to be put on a waitlist.

 

I want to put us on the waitlist for MTD, but I do have a question. If MTD doesn't become available, but early seating does, and late seating remains available....will we be able to choose which seating we want? If not, how close to the cruise date would we find out which seating we have?

To my knowledge, you can only be on one waitlist. So if MTD does not become available, I suspect you will just stay on late seating. When we have been on a waitlist, we have cleared it around the time of final payment.

 

Also, once you get on the ship, you can speak to the MTD desk and see if they can accommodate you.

I have been on a waitlist (several months) for MTD for our Radiance Alaska cruise this September. I just found out a couple of days ago that MTD was now confirmed for us...however...I was told my C&A (D+) level also helped. I think you may (and should) be able to let RCI know your 1st choice is MTD with early seating being your 2nd choice. You have nothing to lose by asking....and I certainly would give it a try.

My fear was that, if early seating became available, we'd be "placed" in it. I have never been a fan of the traditional dining, and we don't eat that early at home.

 

I'll hope that MTD opens up, or check when we get onboard. Perhaps, like Ashland, out Diamond status will help.
