Website Errors with price increases

Recommended Posts

I tried "googling" your error message - did not tell me what it was, but it did tell me that that error message has been ongoing since 2014 according to the hits I got on cruise critic (and no one know what it meant back them either)

Are you logging in to check your fare?

Try using a private or incognito tab and visit the NCL site without logging in, and you probably won't see that error message.

I have a suspicion that NCL looks at your cookie on your browser and adjusts what they show you. There are dozens of cookies for the site; this one lists my customer ID and reservation number:

Using private or incognito mode hides those cookies; you can then price your cruise as if you were a new person they want to entice to buy. We've had several times where the pricing changes based on using private mode, but we are not certain it is due to cookies. Just seems that way to us, so it's worth a shot.
