Have they been doing any specials with the drink packages on board? I'm trying to decide if I should get the package ahead of time or if I'd be better off just buying myself onboard credit in the amount enough to cover the package plus a little leftover for incidentals and getting it onboard.

Generally they don't offer specials on one ship over another.

 

But to answer your question, no I haven't heard of it happening. The only thing you might save is sales tax.

 

There is a current promotion across the board where if you buy the (I think) ultimate package, your roomie gets the soda package for free.

They barely hawked the drink packages last week. I did see people using them, but there were no specials published in the Compass for drink packages; only for specialty restaurants.

IMO, it's always better to use OBC (their money) instead of yours!

I don't have THEIR OBC. I would be buying my own. (And I'm pretty upset that the running cruise NEXT year is getting the packages included. GRR!!!! Wish we'd gotten that this year.)
