No Minibar, No discount?

I just cruised on the same ship and we had a minibar with soda, spirits, wine and mixers. I'm also 4 star and used the discount at the Explorers cafe as well for coffee and tea drinks and cans of soda

But apparently not all rooms have a minbar on statendam...only suites? I'm interested in beer discounts.

As a 4 star mariner I see I get a 50% discount on minibar purchases.

What if my cabin on Statendam doesn't have a minibar? How does that work?

There will be offerings on the shelves around the mirror at the desk IIRC. That'd be the pseudo-mini-bar.

The "S" and "R" Class ships have coolers in only the cabins with verandahs.

Vista and Signature Class ships have cooler in all cabins.

You can rent a cooler for $2 /day if you wish on the "S" and "R" class ships.

Explorer's Lounge or Exploration Café?

Correct. The inside and outside cabins have an ice bucket and cans of soda only.

If you want something that would otherwise be in a mini-bar, you could ask your cabin steward about it, and see if your cabin can be stocked. He won't do it, but should know (or be able to find out) if it can be done by the bar department.

Other than that, I don't know what to suggest.
