How late is too late

Well I screwed up and misread the restrictions when buying my trip insurance. I thought I had 21 days after my final payment to buy the insurance and apparently I was wrong. Anyone know about buying trip insurance after your final payment has already been made?

yes, no problem. I just checked squaremouth.com on a dummy cruise leaving next week and final payment made and had a whole list of policies to consider.

sure, you can buy Travel Insurance up to a couple of days before you depart.

With some caveats

Won't cover pre-existing medical conditions.

Can't get a "Cancel For Any Reason" policy, or work related, etc.

Won't be covered for any storms after the storm has been officially named.

 

There are a few others probably,,, but, just basic travel insurance? Sure.
