Question if anyone recalls or knows

When doing the 'Southbound Voyage of the Glaciers' with Princess. The last night after leaving Ketchikan..I'm assuming the largest part of the passage is travelled at night thereby missing best views? I know the last sea day is through the passage ...but....

No, most of the time that night is spent in Hecate Strait and Queen Charlotte sound so you wont miss much. It's the next day that really is spectacular sailing between Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia...and of course thru Seymour Narrows.:)

The last afternoon and night before arriving in Vancouver is really special. Great scenery along the way. If the weather is nice, the sunset will be spectacular. Arriving in Vancouver in the morning with the sun shining on the high rises and the mountains all around is the final highlight of the cruise.

It is all scenery after leaving Ketchikan, through dark, same with the following later afternoon/evening. :) Most people are locked into extended dining commitments and miss a lot of potential sightseeing :)

Don't forget that the sunset is much later than it is in the lower 48. You will have wonderful views until quite late-if it's not raining and cloudy-do walk back and forth between the port and starboard sides as the scenery can be very different.

Get up no later than 6am for the sail in to Vancouver so that you can see the Lion's Gate Bridge. If the weather is sunny it will be so beautiful.
