BuckeyeCruiser79 Posted June 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2015 My wife and I went to Nassau a couple years ago and loved it. We found this little beach on the north end of Paradise Island off of Casino drive. It was a great beach and we had a great time. We are returning to Nassau in September and this time we'd like to go to Paradise Beach. Is it possible to swim on this beach without purchasing an Atlantis excursion? We're okay with paying to visit the beach, but we don't need a full on Atlantis excursion. Thanks!
Rare CruisinCrow Posted June 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2015 I think you mean Cabbage Beach. There is a public access point next to the RIU hotel. Beach is free, you can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas. The main disadvantage is that there aren't any restrooms. Also, be aware that on some days the water can be really rough and not swim-able. Rare CruisinCrow Posted June 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Ahh, I think I figured out what you're referring to. There is a beach on the Atlantis property called Paradise Beach that is over by the Reef Towers. There's no way to access it without going through Atlantis. I'm not even sure that the Beach Day pass includes that beach - it may be only for guests of the hotel. You could try contacting the hotel to ask. Last I read, a Beach Day pass cost $65. Cabbage beach is where we went the first time. It's a nice beach for sure. We were just hoping to be able to see the Atlantis better and get some pictures. We may just do the Atlantis excursion. hillcitygirl Posted June 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2015 Dont think it will let me post the link from TA to the bar....Not Cabbage is on N side of Paradise Island. Junkanoo isn't. But here is the address on trip advisor for The Tiki Bikini Hut: Address: Junkanoo Beach Nassau Bahamas | P. O. Box N 10 45, Nassau n1045, New Providence Island Just google the bar name in Nassau and the link for TA will show up. Also google Cabbage and Junkanoo..they are shown in two different places. Haven't been there dependent on TA and mapquest....

I think the OP is interested in Cabbage, where Atlantis is.
