Water on Carnival question....

This is the company they are using to bottle. I can't recall if the bottle said spring or purified on it though.

We also don't care for the water on the ship because it seems to make my mom's ankles puff up which indicates that the sodium level is a bit high. We only used the "free" water we got for our VIFP gift but have ordered the cases for our next cruise.

I used to drink the water from the ship, too, until I realized it made my ankles swell. The problem went away when I started to drink only bottled water.

Someone may report that during a "Behind the scenes tour", they spotted some Carnival employees secretly filling bottles at a kitchen sink?

Seriously, it may be like other major brands like Dasani that are not spring water, but reprocessed, purified tap water.

You know that will happen. There will also be some mysterious youtube video showing it as well. ;)

I was on the Breeze last week and ordered a 12 pack for our room. It was Ice River Green water. The water was fine, but the bottles smelled terrible. I'm guessing from storage. So we pulled off the labels and washed the bottles in the sink. After that they were perfectly fine. 😊

We had this same combo (Carnival brand for VIFP and Ice River)on the Sunshine this past week. Also, the Ice River large green bottles were provided with our cabana at HMC.
