Rare Crew News Posted June 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Our experience on Holland America is about 50 days prior to the sailing date.
paul929207 Posted June 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2015 On the other end, most can be printed until day of cruise. For both answers (when you can & when you must), you will do better asking in the section for your cruise line
cb at sea Posted June 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Actually, don't wait until the day of the cruise...most lines take down your info abut 48 hours prior to your sail date. So print them a few days before the cruise. That said...you don't actually NEED to print anything....but most like to!!
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Each Cruise Line has its own rules for e-docs. So you really should ask your question on the cruise line you will be sailing on.
Dayenu Posted June 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Usually you need the page for sailpass, and maybe luggage tags - but luggage tags will be at embarkation.
zqvol Posted June 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2015 How soon after I booked our cruise can I or do I need to print the edocs? It varies by cruise line. Usually they are available about a week after you make final payment. You do not need to print them, at least not on paper. The easiest thing to do is save them as a file and save the file to your mobile device, that way you have a copy but don't waste trees.

And you don't have to carry paper around! Seems everyone is traveling with a smartphone or tablet these days so it is time to use them for more than texting, email and phone calls.
