Mewat Posted July 17, 2015 #26 Share Posted July 17, 2015 My favourites are Berried Treasure and Miami Vice on Ice - both very sweet and fruity.....and very pink! Long time to wait til I can savour them again (October) Michele
kevinyork Posted July 18, 2015 #27 Share Posted July 18, 2015 It would be a shame not to try something from the Gin and Tonic menu in The Crowsnest since it is only available in that bar on that ship. I dont drink Gin usually but they do a Laverstoke Cocktail that comes in a special glass (think goldfish bowl). Its made from Bombay Sapphire Gin, Martini Extra Dry, eldeflower cordial and ginger ale with fresh lime, ginger and mint. It really is delicious and will last a while. It will be a different addition to the usual port info but all manner of things can add to the anticipation of a cruise! Come to think of it I'll re-read the thread and perhaps add a few more! ;) Edited July 18, 2015 by kruzseeka

Paulandkazuk Posted July 19, 2015 #30 Share Posted July 19, 2015 The Singapore slings on P and O are the best I've ever tasted. Perfect for a first day of holidays treat. I can almost taste mine from my upcoming trip on Ventura on August 21st!
Triplalot Posted July 19, 2015 #31 Share Posted July 19, 2015 Another vote for the Singapore Sling, very nice, I also liked the fruity Maitai but fear although delicious it's kick may be too strong for a largely non drinker :)

Clodia Posted July 21, 2015 #33 Share Posted July 21, 2015 My daughter's not much of a drinker and loves exactly the same flavours as you. Her fave is a cocktail they make on board called A Summer's Love - Grey Goose Pear Vodka, apple juice and elderflower. Not too alcoholic, slightly sweet and fruity. My daughter also rarely drinks alcohol and loved this one on Oriana last year!
kikki21 Posted July 21, 2015 #34 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Another vote for the Raspberry Creme Brûlée which was amazing! :) if you want something refreshing then try a Mojito they were also good :)
teigenes Posted July 21, 2015 #35 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Do they have "Ancient Mariners" on P&O ships. Had these on the Century, rum based with other goodies and plenty of ice made it a long cold drink, most enjoyable. Have to say tho that I like the sound of a Laverstoke cocktail. Are they available on all P&O ships
