Restaurants are on the Explorer

It has been a few years since I have been on the Explorer of the Seas. We will be on her for a Cruise to Alaska in July of 2016.

 

What changes have been made to the Explorer? Have the common areas changed much? What about the eating areas. Thanks.

Specialty restaurants Chops and Sabor have been added. Portofino was changed to Giovanni's Table.

 

The two deck nightclub is gone.

Specialty restaurants Chops and Sabor have been added. Portofino was changed to Giovanni's Table.

 

The two deck nightclub is gone.

Not quite, unless there have been addition changes in the last month.

 

No Sabor on Explorer.

Portofino was changed to Chops Grille.

Giovanni's Table added across form Schooner Bar.

Izumi added on Deck 14 (formerly Card Room).

Sabor on Explorer of the Seas, are you sure? I didnt find it on deck plans.

Izumi is a specialty Sushi restaurant and Sabor is a specialty Mexican restaurant. As mentioned in another post it was already noted that there is no Sabor on the Explorer.

I'm on the Explorer now and Sabor is definitely not onboard. Izumi is located up in the Viking Crown Lounge.

That's okay as I'm sailing the Indy in Nov. It's just been 7 years since I've sailed RCCL and had never heard of these restaurants. Thanks for the info.
