Can you book through the Casino?

Recommended Posts

I usually book my cruises through the casino on Norwegian. Two years ago I was asked to join Royals Casino VIP club as I won and spent the minimum to join on my last cruise. As I'm planning another cruise can I book through Royals Casino or through normal channels. Thanks.

I'm not sure but I ran over $10,000 through their slots over 10 days. $8,300 of which I had won over the cruise and $1,700 of my own. I won 3 hand payouts over that cruise, the highest being $1,000 on the Wheel of Fortune.

If you are Casino Royale Vip, and completed the paperwork, you are a lifetime vip according to the current rules. You generally get a much better deal booking through the casino. At least that has been my experience.

Yes, you can book directly through club royale.

However, In my experience you only get the best deals

on their specified "casino cruises"

For me, on cruises that were not on their "list" My

diamond rate was better. However, on the cruises

that were on their list I have always gotten a free balcony room

and only paid gratuities and taxes.

Definitely worth you calling them.

they are not open on weekends and seem to close at

6pm west coast time. fyi Mondays are crazy busy for them

so expect to be on hold for appx 30 minutes unless you get

really lucky.

Call Club Royale - we saved quite a bit on our cruise coming up 9/12 - it's not a "casino cruise".

You can call them, get the casino rate, then have them patch you through to the TA of your choice - you will get the casino rate plus any amenities your TA offers - mine (big warehouse store) - offered comp gratuities and OBC. For 3 cabins (JS, 2 BV's on the Oasis) OBC totaled $500.

My discount, based on my historical play with them I suppose, is apparently fixed at 20%. That can add up to some significant savings!

That's the same discount I get through the Blue Chip Club (Celebrity).
