lbfluffy Posted July 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2015 We are going on the Grand on June 20. Will it be cold on deck watching the movies? Thanks.
fishywood Posted July 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Will it be cold on deck watching the movies? It depends on the weather. (Sorry...I can never resist this one :D) But seriously every report from Alaska, even during the middle of the season, says that you must snag a blanket (or three) to bundle up under in order to watch at night. BroncoLvrs Posted July 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2015 We enjoyed several movies on our Alaskan cruise. Our room Steward brought us blankets that were much larger than the ones offered on deck.
Thrak Posted July 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2015 We watched MUTS on an Alaska cruise in September of 2011. Some nights were colder than others. As stated above, "It depends on the weather".

lbfluffy Posted July 29, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I remember our Alaskan cruise 9 years ago to Alaska in June not being too cold, but the ship did not have MUTS so this is a new experience for us.
paddingtonbear Posted July 29, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) On a British isles cruise in June it was very cold but lots of people bundled up in blankets and beanies and watched the movie at night, my DH included. I sensibly watched a movie on TV in the cabin : ) Edited July 29, 2015 by paddingtonbear
