Grand Princess Mini Suites

Are all the beds near the door? We prefer cabins with beds near the balcony but I'm not sure these cabins are available in that configuration.

Also - do all of them have couches that convert to beds? Just in case we want to add a third person last minute.

Thanks!

If you think a third person will be added, book them now. If they can't go, you can always cancel. The reason is that Princess is "capacity controlled" which means that regardless of the number of beds available in a cabin, only as many passengers are booked in each section as there are lifeboat seats. In other words, if you delay, you might find that they can't be booked in your cabin.

If your really want to ask for a good deal try booking a full window suite on fiesta deck. You might be surprised with the quote. The are 6 or 7 cabins hidden by a doorway near the reception desk.

long cruiser

Yes we just booked a Window Suite to Alaska and the price was only $100 pp more than a mini-suite. Of course we had to give up the balcony but are willing to do that on this cruise for the suite experience.

We did that for a cool weather cruise to Canada/New England and it was a great choice. Didn't miss the balcony and LOVED the suite perks! :D

Look at the deck plans on the Princess website. Select a mini suite on deck 9. Select the cabin diagram. This is the configuration. If there is any difference in a specific cabin there will be a notation in red when you click on that cabin.

Mini Suites Beds are in the middle of the cabin. As you enter the cabin the closet and bathroom come first, then the bedroom, then the sitting room with a couch chair and coffee table, then the door to the balcony. Hope this helps
