Rare RLK33853 Posted August 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2015 The Island has one of the best cigar lounges at sea - it is the only one on Princess that has a great outside view. All one side is glassed so it is like you are sitting outside. Every cigar smoker we have talked to on board loves it.

So glad they left it where it was when they made some other major changes.
exbiologist Posted August 9, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2015 You can smoke in the casino too, which I'm pretty sure includes cigars.

The sister ship Coral Princess also has a Churchill's with views to the outside/promenade.

OCruisers Posted August 9, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 9, 2015 The ONLY place cigar smoking is allowed anyplace on Island Princess is in the Cigar Bar (Churchill's). Cigars are not allowed in the casinos on any Princess ship.
cruiseclues Posted August 10, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Didn't recently see any cigar smoking in any cruise ship casino. :):):):)

shredie Posted August 10, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 10, 2015 On the Island Princess can you smoke cigars on the outside deck where cigarette smoking is allowed? I think the cigars must be kept to the Churchill lounge (which is really quite beautiful, BTW. You can see it all through the windows on the piazza side without having to brave the smoke to look.) Trahlyta Posted August 10, 2015 #14 Share Posted August 10, 2015 Well, darn. My husband is the cigar smoker and I like to sit with him when he smokes but I prefer being outside instead of a smoky cigar bar. I hope there is good ventilation in there. OCruisers Posted August 10, 2015 #15 Share Posted August 10, 2015 On the Island Princess can you smoke cigars on the outside deck where cigarette smoking is allowed? On Island it's against the rules to smoke a cigar anyplace other than Churchill's. LuLu
