Talking during a show

We were sitting behind a group of six people at a magic show. Only one could speak English. He loudly translated what was being said.

We were sitting behind a group of six people at a magic show. Only one could speak English. He loudly translated what was being said.

We used to have a similar thing at a local theater. A couple across the aisle from us talked during the play. He had hearing problems, so he would hiss "What did he say?" and she would repeat the dialogue loudly, causing everyone nearby to miss the next line(s) of dialogue.
