I am still onboard the Anthem did a back to back i have to say activities manager Christopher Hopkins should be promoted to cruise director i been on 13 days already 9 to go he made this cruise fun,a lot of guess onboard says the same thing he does a better Job then Dru,Dru is never seen around the ship only when he opens the show and the belly flopp,Christopher take time and goes to the pool deck and chat with guest and takes pictures,I hope Christopher gets promoted

Oddly enough, we had the opposite experience with Dru, who was a very dynamic on our 2 cruises (we loved his Friends and Seinfeld trivia). And, we hardly ever saw Chris (and when we did, he was a dud).

 

 

I was on the 10/29 Anthem cruise and felt both Dru and Chris were extremely visible and always willing to interact with guests all the time. It is important to keep in mind that a strong AM may appear to be more visible during the day because he/she is running the "activities" whereas the CD is managing the "entertainment". And on a ship like Anthem there is a LOT of entertainment to manage with a lot of office work to do during the day. Dru ran the Belly Flop, Captain's Corner, the Top Tier Event, the Q&A with Freedom's godmother (who was onboard), put in an appearance at the Meet and Mingle (between two other events), and did the WWF walk in addition to all of the multiple shows. I have had Dru as CD three times since September 2015 (28 nights altogether) and he has always been highly accessible. I think Chris will be an excellent CD in the future and will be watching to see when he gets promoted.

Just returned from 12 days on Grandeur with her new CD, Bobby Broughton. Was so pleased and happy to have him join RCCL and come aboard Lady G! His warm, bubbly personality was infectious and he always seemed to have time for a quick word and personal acknowledgement, be it only a wave or personal smile, as he rushed about the ship. Can't say enough about how he brought a sense of joy and happiness to the cruise. He worked very well with AM Andre and is a fantastic addition to the Grandeur family. I do hope that he will continue to be part of her family for a long time and not just a one contract guest. Way to go Bobby!;):D

Explorer OTS - Graham Seymour September 30 through late-January (Then who?)

 

Anyone know where Graham goes after Explorer? We are on the Radiance in June and would so love it if he were on that ship. He has to be one of the funniest CD ever!
