Thank you! I am sure that many people will question the date, so it is good to have your explanation!

I meant to add a question mark after handover. LOL

I think this is a reliable source, but not from the 'horse's mouth' so to speak.

Thanks for all you do!

Does your source know who is taking over? Is it a new CD named Bobby, as reported on another site?

I've had Marc "Bing Bong" Walker on 2 of my cruises.

We loved him & seems to mostly get favorable reviews.

I'm curious if anyone knows why he is usually on the Majesty being the smallest & oldest ship in the fleet? I think he left the company for a short time, but I would think his experience would still land him on larger ships.

The closest port to Marc's home is Port Canaveral.

Bng Bong is happy where he is. Also, because he is "that good" he has a lessened schedule now. He is enjoying his family time, and in the extra off time is doing a few gigs for the Home Shopping Network.

I've been on enchantment with him and thought the same thing. He's great!

Hi all. We just got off the Majesty this morning. Marc announced Saturday at the beginning of the Live and Marriage show Mo, the next Majesty of The Seas Cruise Director. Mo is currently the activities manager. I would guess he wouldn't announce it if weren't true. Hope I'm sharing what will really be happening.

Erika

I heard directly from Mo Vatuloka who said he wished he was getting promoted, but it has not happened yet.

Do you know any CD "Bobby"? A CD change on October 26 will be at a mid-cruise port call in Miami.

Just Bobby Brown, who is on Harmony until Oct 23. He is not "new".

i suppose it is possible that he could be covering Paul's break, because he's been on Harmony for 3 months and a usual contract is 4 months

Thanx Donna.;) Sounds like the timing would work for "Bobby" Brown to transfer to Grandeur on 10-26, giving him a few days off. Off Harmony in Ft. Lauderdale and on Grandeur in Miami is very doable. Any takes on his personality or style?

As per what has been reported in a previous post, I reached out to Susan McColl and this morning heard back from her. She told me that as of right now she expects to be joining Majesty at the end of Oct to take over from Marc. Could something change, of course.....was Marc in his emceeing of Love and Marriage floating out something he is personally hoping for (sure), but there have been other times in the past, that CD's said things about their AM's that were not imminently happening. A recent one was Dennis Charles announcing the promotion of Elvis to CD and it took another year or so to actually happen.

Donna,

Dru is still the CD for this sailing once I get a hold of one of the CD staff I will find out for how long.

Thanks so much! I was waiting for your post!

Weird, because he is due on Anthem to take over from Abe on Saturday. Unless that has changed???

Have a great cruise!

Thanks! My guess is that the handover will occur next weekend (the 16) on Allure, and the handover on Anthem will occur on Oct 20 now, which still allows Abe to travel to Harmony by Oct 23.
