Hi, going on the Sunshine for the first time in another week. Please tell me the good things about the ship that I should make sure to hit and not miss...food, areas, etc., etc.. As far as the negatives if any, prefer to discover on my own. Thanks so much in advance for your input!!!

We leave on her ( Sunshine) next week too!!!! The Cucina del Capitano (pasta) is WONDERFUL.. Lunch in free, dinner $15 p/p. Ji Ji Asian Kitchen is also great ( Mongolian at lunch) Always pretty long lines. Same, free lunch, $15 p/p dinner. If you like drinks that are different go to the Alchemy Bar, they have drinks no other bar on the ship has. The Red Frog Pub and Ocean Plaza are side by side, 5 Aft. When one band/Performer leaves for break the other plays there set. Never without good music. The Serenity Adult Only pool is beautiful, very relaxing. The pool on the Lido has a lot more going on. One day the crew put up the lounge chairs, in the morning early, and cover the Lido deck with towel animals...EVERYWHERE!!! Don't worry they had them back out for the sunbathers.. Before dinner, in the lobby there's some type of live music or a type of entertainment going on. On the Lido deck at night they show movies. I think they have free popcorn. Guys burgers are wonderful!!! A favorite for lunch. The production shows in the theater are pretty good, if you like live shows. That's all I can think of at the moment, just remember you can do everything OR nothing at all. Have a great time!!

We loved the Sunshine!!! We just sailed her in July. Don't let negative reviews get you down....sounds like you're not! She had so many positives about her. I would definitely sail her again, and she might actually be one of my favorites....after the Breeze, of course!!!

The Havana Bar area is a nice spot that always had seating, and great omelettes. There were also a few special food choices there at sail away. Yummy empanadas! The Steakhouse was one of the best we have been to in the fleet. The service onboard everywhere was fantastic! ENJOY!!!!

It's been said already but I can't stress the Havana bar enough. Great view, rarely ever over-crowded. Just grab food from the buffet, Guys, Iguana, wherever, and head to the Havana.

If you like comedy, get in line early. It's a pain, but after awhile, we found we met a lot of cool people in line and had some great conversations.

And since you can't go through the ship on one deck, just get used to the area around the casino, comedy club, and dining room, it's not as bad as some people lead you to believe.

I agree with all that stated that the Havana Bar area was absolutely wonderful. By far my favorite part of the ship. Grab all your food from restaurants, gather and eat there with awesome views and a quiet place on the ship (which is sometimes rare to find!). I loved Seaday Brunch, Pasta Bar at lunch and the Green Eggs and Ham breakfast on the last day.

Have a great cruise! :) We had a great time on the Sunshine!
