Fttf (Manually Added?)

This was the email I received when I inquired about if more FTTF would be available for my last cruise which was in May. It was received a couple days after I emailed.

Good news!!

A handful of additional space for your sailing is in process of being added for this date... should be available in about 2 minutes....

Please act fast, as these too will quickly sell out again. ☺

Wishing you a wonderful cruise,

Best Regards,

Carnival Cruise Lines

Wonder why they wouldn't just do it this same way now? I could see if your documents were no longer available online (like 24/48 hours before your cruise), but I don't understand the point of a list when it can just be added normally if there are in fact FTTF available. But, whatever. Hope it works out for everyone.

We sail tomorrow, and I was emailed with the "good news" email yesterday afternoon. I too was wondering how we would have priorty boarding without it being on our documents but I guess I will see

Kept reading the post and saw how it worked out! Wonderful news.

My experience: I had FTTF on our 9/13 Conquest cruise but paid to switch to Sunshine for 9/11 and it was unavailable, not even showing under excursions. I emailed shore excursions to find out if it was even offered in Port Canaveral bc it wasn't listed. They replied back and said it was but sold out and I was wait listed. Later that day it appeared in shore excursions but was sold out. This was June 21. I received the email saying I was manually added yesterday 9/9.

Ok we are back from our cruise on Valor and hear to say....YES the email was legit!! Thank god as that would of been embarrising.

wew arrived about 12:30 in Port Canaveral, FL. I printed the email. Got off of our shuttle, showed the porter my email (did not see any list) he took my luggage and put bright orange luggage tags on them and put on a cart. We walked to the priority/FTTF line. I just breezed on threw till the gate lady called me back:confused: I showed her my email, we walked right through the long long long lines of everyone waiting. Walked towards priority they told us fttf had their own counter. (Priority still has their own lines and a little waiting room like the airports) We walked right to the counter, checked in and right on the boat. Our luggage wasn't in the room until about 1/2 hour later which was fine. From shuttle to out room total about 15 minutes. Also we requested anytime and were waitlisted (I even checked the day we left to see if it had been approved it wasn't) when we got our sail sign card it was approved for anytime. Not sure if this has something to do with it, but hey why not:)

Departing just as easy as we made our way down to the dining room about 7:45 to wait for our zone. they were already calling zone 3 (we were zone 2) so that also very fast,,,porter got our luggage and we were out.

I suggest everyone get it,,,i loved it!!!! Priority still has their perks that they have earned. The only other thing was we could tender first and use priority customer service but never needed it:)

How did you get charged? I've seen some say it was charged to the S&S account and wanted to be sure.

Did it show as a negative balance on there until you put money in?

This was my response from Carnival..

Oh no :( that's the first time I've seen that response being posted. And you're not at final payment date yet, so must mean they have a lot of plat & diamonds on that cruise. I'm on the next Breeze cruise 12/13/15 and fear I will get the same email. It's also one of the premier casino cruises so imagine it could be a lot of seasoned cruisers onboard the ship that week. We will miss FTTF, but will be a great cruise anyway! Thanks for sharing your update!

My sailing is the Ultra Premier cruise, so as you said, maybe that is why they are rejecting requests. Lots of Diamond and Platinum.

Good luck with your request, though. :)

This is what they sent to me yesterday....not very promising ...

Thank you for your Faster to the Fun query about your sold out sailing. Due to the overwhelming number of requests being sent to this address, the best we can promise right now is yes, your request has been received, and we will do our very best to add additional space for your sailing. As required by its nature, FttF is very limited, and may already be at its absolute final capacity for this voyage. Please know final numbers ultimately depend on the volume of Diamond and Platinum guests also sailing.

We will likely have a better idea if any additional spaces will be added, closer to the sailing date.

Wishing you a wonderful cruise,

This is the message I received about 3 weeks ago. Anyone have any idea of when "closer to your sailing date" actually is?

I got the same reply last week, and we are sailing on November 15, I am hoping that "closer to the sailing date" means this week, but I'm not holding my breath either.

Last weeks I noticed that FttF was available to book for my cruise in November.... I booked it, and waited two full days, but never got another email from Carnival letting me know it was available, so I emailed them and told them I saw it and had booked it.... They sent me back an email thanking me for letting THEM know.

38 days till my cruise.....sail date Nov 15. I can't figure out why I dont even get a reply back.. I originally sent my request to fttfinfo@carnival.com with all the info in the subject line, ship, sail date, last name, booking number. I get no response at all from them. First request was sent on Aug 8, second request sent Last week and again this week. Never got a reply .....nothing.:(:(

I just got an email saying we got FTTF manually added. We sail Halloween Day!!![emoji106][emoji2]

Just curious - did you receive any replies from them prior to getting it manually added?

We're hoping to get it for our friends for our Thanksgiving week cruise on the Sunshine.

Here are two replies I received:

Greetings Funseeker!

Interested in getting the FUN started early? We can’t blame you. Your email has been received and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We will usually respond within 7 to 10 days to general questions. If you are looking to purchase FTTF for a sold out sailing, we’ll keep your information on hand in the order it is received. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified. Due to the popularity of this program, we will only notify you if space becomes available.

Thanks for your interest in our Faster to the Fun program. Most importantly, we look forward to welcoming you onboard soon!

Second email:

I had FTTF in my shopping cart, and didn't realize I needed to pay for it right away, so it vanished. I just emailed them to see if there is any way that I can get it back...

Guess what? We recieved the same letter as a few others have posted above. I found it the day before we left for our cruise, and you can bet I was doing the happy dance. IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH EVERY CENT.

How could they give it to you manually you have to pay for it just like a shore excursion?

I booked up two weeks ago for our December 5th cruise, we always get the FTTF only booking so late it was sold out, kept checking each and everyday a few times a day and today it opened up, clicked on it paid for it and we got it. :D
