We are booked on the Millie Dec cruise and Celebrity has just announced the sale of Suite Gty's .Does anyone have any knowledge whether we can change our AC 1 cabin for the Suite without losing our OBC's and drink package?

The cost difference is slightly higher than we paid.

Thanks

The short answer is sometimes yes, others no.

It depends on how X interprets the fare. Do they consider the current GTY fare a standard GTY fare, or a discounted GTY fare. We really have no way of knowing.

Like airlines have 1st class tickets, but there are different levels of 1st class, some allow unlimited changes no charge, others charge for a change, others don't allow changes or refunds.

You have to call and see, if you get told no, try again, after 3 no's assume the answer is no.

As you are not from North America, you also have further restrictions to your reservations that can affect your outcome.

Phone and ask. They can only say no.

From personal experience a suite holiday is very special. If you have not yet tried Luminae you could be in for a treat. From the guarantee perspective the advice is to look at the worst room available in your category and if you would be happy with that the only way is up!

We love Millie, hope it works out for you, have a great cruise.

Thank you for all the replies and suggestions, with past dealings with Celebrity, it seems that depending on the consultant who answers the call, the outcome can be different. Usually a call to michael@ will get you a definitive answer. I never accept the first answer as gospel but like the previous posters usually try 2 or 3 calls before giving up or getting a good outcome.
