How many stairs between decks on Veendam and Eurodam?

If anyone is presently on one of these ships and you happen to be looking for something lazy to do, could you tell me how many stairs are in the flights between deck? Thanks!

It may vary with different staircases and different decks. Can you be more specific? Or perhaps explain why?

It is split staircases between decks. What I mean is there are about 11 steps (give or take), a landing and then another flight of the same number of steps. I have sailed all the ships in the fleet except Prinsendam (I don't know the companionways on her) and the split staircase is on all of them.

Aha! Ok. I do stairs every day (in addition to the ones we all do anyway). I want to keep it up while I'm cruising because it's so easy to break a good habit. I do 100 now and want to be double that by next year, so...

We just happened to have counted them on the Eurodam last week. Between decks 1 and 2, and 2 and 3 there were 13 steps in each section (two per flight), from there on up there were 11 steps in each section.

While we don't "do stairs" as a workout, we always try to walk when we are aboard to help offset some of the extra calories. Another advantage of aft cabins on many ships as we have further to walk to the staircase. :)

My DH and I always do the stairs everyday on a cruise up and down! Only once though!Ha then we will go walk around the promenade. Never thought of counting the steps!
