Paul, thank you for this report; we are looking at same itinerary in 2017. We really enjoy the Silver Explorer but not sure if we would have as positive attitude as you if Scoresby (all four days) was cancelled and replaced by Iceland. That is thought process we are going through before committing.

For me it is a vacation and needed the time off from work.... :D

Just booked the West Africa cruise in same cabin..
