Rare Keith1010 Posted August 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) I believe four would be the maximum you cold even get in the taxi. Maybe you could get a taxi van but would be trickier on your return. Keith Edited August 27, 2015 by Keith1010

njhorseman Posted August 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) The larger taxis are now permitted to take 7 passengers...six in the back and the seventh in the front passenger seat. Previously the limit was 6. Smaller taxis are limited to 4 passengers. Note that metered fares for 5-7 passengers in a taxi are about 25% higher that the 1-4 passenger fares. On Sundays, overnight hours and holidays 5-7 passengers in a taxi will be subject to a 50% fare surcharge over the otherwise applicable fare, as opposed to a 25% surcharge for 1-4 passengers. The fare for 5 passengers from Dockyard to Horseshoe Bay will be about $45 plus tip, Monday - Saturday.
