Stephluva2711 Posted August 30, 2015 #51 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Seems like my first response was deleted as it was a bit harsh. I would be reserving chairs on the upper deck were smoking is allowed. The mob mentality of cruise critic came up with the idea I am reserving the first row next to the pool. Actually someone DID post that if you're on the top decks it's not so hard to find a seat, and they attendants don't really enforce it on the upper decks, YOU just chose to ignore that and just looked for any little confrontation you could find on this thread. If you really don't care what people have to say why the back and forth? Grow up
Paulxyz2004 Posted August 30, 2015 #52 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Every RCI ship I´ve been on had signs on the pool decks clearly Setting the rules for reserving chairs, so no this is not some CC made up stuff. It won't be hard. Sitting next to them chain smoking and being as loud and obnoxious as possible would do the trick for most. I can escalate it from there if need be. As you said it would be in the Smoking section why would chain Smoking bother anyone? As for the loud and abnoxious part. I´ve had to deal with that before and I can tell you it is very easy to be dealt with. A quick call for security and they efficiently deal with loud and abnoxious People. Last time I called security for someone loud and obnoxious he ended up on the floor with handcuffs still screaming and shouting. It got him a nice escort off the Gangway in the next port of call.:D:cool:
negc Posted August 30, 2015 #53 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Again, go look at my older posts. Shame you judge so fast without knowing who you are talking too. If your other posts are as inane as this one and you are that clueless of the basic rule against saving lounge chairs, looking at your other posts would be fruitless. You clearly need more help than most of us are able to offer you.

You are going back and forth with me right now.
Janet524 Posted August 30, 2015 #56 Share Posted August 30, 2015 hello all, can i bring my own towels onboard? I have some bright ones and think it would be a great way to know what chairs are mine after i goto bingo and such. seriously?
MikeyM Posted August 30, 2015 Author #57 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Getting kicked off the boat for JUST being loud and obnoxious. Clearly more happened then just that. Also did you follow him to the gangway the net day to make sure he got kicked off? Seems a bit extreme.
calypso73 Posted August 30, 2015 #58 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Second, I do that all the time, but it's totally different than reserving loungers on a cruise ship. I would never do that. Beaches must be different where you guys are from. I'd never consider leaving my stuff while I left the beach for hours. Sure leave it while taking a swim but I wouldn't dream of leaving the beach area without my stuff. Glad that you don't hog the loungers though ;-)

Also did you follow him to the gangway the net day to make sure he got kicked off? Seems a bit extreme. If you simply stop being loud and obnoxiuous once security arrives the case is over and you would have not made your Point in making me leave. Though security might have made you leave. If you Keep being loud and obnoxious with security, they will remove you from the Scene and yes if you don´t calm down they will kick you off. I had no Business to make sure he gets kicked off. I was done with it after the guy and his Party was removed. However sometimes you just happen to see stuff and I was sitting on my balcony the next day when they removed the entire Party from the ship. All I´m saying is loud and obnoxious will not drive me away. I will let the ships authorities deal with it and they do. Anyway I don´t care about your post history, but this thread brings out your trollish behaviour. As others have said do what you like, nothing we could say would stop you anyway. Besides being amusing this thread has run it´s course, as you are not interested in the answer and will do whatever you like.
MikeyM Posted August 30, 2015 Author #61 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Got it. So you fabricated your story. You really have no idea why he and his party got kicked off the boat, it at all. For all you know they had to attend to a emergency.

JasonMason Posted August 30, 2015 #63 Share Posted August 30, 2015 I did some research, if you look at page 2 of the Royal Caribbean Guest Conduct Policy it does mention that reserving deck chairs is not allowed. The link to this policy, for anyone who may want to look it over is here: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/Guest_Conduct_Policy.pdf Have a great trip

Rare Lionesss Posted August 30, 2015 #66 Share Posted August 30, 2015 I just looked thru my cruise contact and don't see anything about there being a "30 minute rule" Is this some made up cruisecritc law made up by the self righteous of this board? You will find signs posted by the pools. I have seen them on Mariner, Freedom, Allure and Oasis. Later
tonkie Posted August 30, 2015 #67 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Like I said in an earlier post of mine, rude maybe not, but selfish most certainly is. Lets hope I'm not on my next cruise in September with the likes of you

Security gets to the Scene 3. loud and obnoxious Party gets into an Argument about it with security 4. guy on the floor and handcuffed by security 5. Party removed 6. Security escorts them off with Police in attendance Yeah sure they had to attend to an emergency:rolleyes: Dream on!!!
MikeyM Posted August 30, 2015 Author #69 Share Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Like I said in an earlier post of mine, rude maybe not, but selfish most certainly is. Also in your first post is your assumption that I wanted to sit by the pool. Seems like alot of people calmed down after I said I wanted to be on the upper decks. Lots of selective outrage. Lets hope I'm not on my next cruise in September with the likes of you Likewise. I don't like to be around people who are so quick to pass judgement. I expect to see this go on for pages all week long! The OP is probably sitting back saying.....Mission Accomplished! This cracks me up! Pretty much. Seeing the ridiculous outrage over something so trivial is too good to pass up. I thought for sure people's heads would explode when I said I'll just smoke next to them until they leave, alas that part didn't take off the way I had hoped. I was trying to find a way to say my family will be wearing shorts in the MDR, but couldn't find a way to slip it in, or the booze that we sneeked onboard.
