Perhaps I'll join you, that is if I don't break my leg again. I'd like to go back to Alaska, to see different sights than I did on my previous trip.

Discount Hawaii Car Rental. It's probably the best car rental agency I've dealt with. They have some way to connect with passengers right off the cruise ships, whether it's Lahaina or Kahului, but I'm not sure how that works.

 

You plug in all your info on their website and within an hour or so, they tell you what deal they've come up with. You can take it or leave it. Could be Hertz, could be whatever.

Yes, I've used them twice now but there was no pick-up at the pier in Maui the last two times we were there. Of course, times change and perhaps they do now. The only other option would be to book a car out by the major hotels. The airport is much too far. I just wish someone who has actually had a pick-up in Maui in the past year could confirm it.
