FluffyFiFi Posted September 6, 2015 #26 Share Posted September 6, 2015 We were on Aurora in June after her refit and thought she was a lovely ship. Preferred her to the bigger Ventura and Azura and we had really good evening entertainment, Headliners did a some really good shows, there was a very funny comedian and we did a few quizzes. We ate in the Glasshouse which we really enjoyed, just a shame it doesn't have much of a view. The staff were really friendly and our cabin very comfortable although smaller than her bigger sisters. We did like having a bath which we hadn't experienced on a ship before.
Florry Posted September 6, 2015 #27 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) It's just occurred to me you may want to consider a ship visit http://www.pocruises.com/join-us-for-a-guided-tour/ they cost £25pp and it includes parking and a meal. This gives you the chance to have s look and also buy a cruise down payment - so when you do book providing it is within the set criteria you get extra on-board credit. I know it all depends where you live etc. as to whether this is something that is feasible but we quite enjoyed our visit to Adonia - trouble is it feels as though you are going on a cruise and then you get escorted off [emoji31] Edited September 6, 2015 by Florry
Jason12 Posted September 6, 2015 #28 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) You say next August? Ray66 Posted September 30, 2015 #33 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Just thought I'd share this photo of Aurora I took in Cadiz earlier this month whilst on a Med cruise on the Queen Elizabeth. She looks a really nice ship. :)

Beachmad Posted September 30, 2015 #36 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Aurora looks very nice. We have booked Brittania for the Fjords but I would have preferred Aurora if it had been up to me. Entertainment is not a decider for us as it seems its all middle of the road stuff. OH is an Iron Maiden fan too so we are not expecting to be wowed by the shows but you never know, maybe will be lucky and there will be a Queen tribute show like they've had on other ships. wilson2579 Posted September 30, 2015 #37 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I have sailed on all three and Britannia wins it for me. There was absolutely nothing I did not like but having said that I enjoyed Arcadia and Aurora too:eek:
Whitechapel girl Posted October 1, 2015 #38 Share Posted October 1, 2015 I'm on Britannia- first time with P&O - on a Norway cruise in June. Am I reading right that there is no outside space to walk, are there no outside decks to walk? Also anyone know what restaurants have a great view/bed view as like the sound of dinner with scenery floating on by. Thanks
