We are sailing her in November. We called carnival and they said that if she is not ready for some reason, they would give us another ship...not sure how they just have ships hanging around but hopefully those of you who are cruising before us will be the same situation.

 

Thanks you pauley for the amazing updates. Enjoy what you can of the time you have left.

 

Hysterical.................no they do not just have ships laying around.;) Sounds like someone just didn't know what to say and just 'winged it.":D

I just wanted to let you know how much you're posts and updates have been appreciated. I am a TA and I have been following this thread since the fire was announced, since I know I will get factually info without all of the bulls**t or sugarcoating from CCL. I need the facts and only the facts, and you have provided that for us !!

 

Let other's do/say as they will, you are VERY appreciated :)

 

 

We all appreciate op's information but can you give me just one example where Carnival fed us some bulls**t or sugar coated anything with this incident?

Pauleydm, you still there? has staff or an announcement been made as to a time your departing? Were all looking at Marinetraffic dot com and noticing Glory just circling out there just off shore from you guys. Some of us think you could possibly have an escort back to San Jaun.

Thank you Pauleydm for all the updates and information. While I am sure many are disappointed about the turn of events, I think Carnival should hand you the microphone in the theatre and you could tell people to look at the bright side of things and quit complaining ....then sing them a song.

This has been a great following today. Pauley thanks for the most informative updates. It sounds like Carnival has gone above what they should. We are scheduled for November 1st sailing out of San Juan so we will be keeping in touch with our TA. Glad all were safe and sorry to all for who had so many plans changed. Yes, I would take the option to stay on board for the rest of the trip. We have a great group for our upcoming cruise and we'll be sure to figure out the fun anyways

Saw your post and see you are from Guthrie. We are in Broken Arrow and Booked on Sunday sailing on the Liberty too. Do you have any more updates? It doesn't seem likely that we will be sailing. Would you share any thing you might learn? Thanks![/

 

Nothing really new! Just called them again and they are still saying that we are sailing on Sunday. Guess for right now all we can do is hope & pray they are right.
