Quick "elite" question...

Last spring, on Eclipse, for the first time we experienced the three-coupons-for-three drinks pp in the Elite lounge. Is it being done fleetwide or only when there are many Elites and above on board? We sail Silhouette in November and am just wondering...

Just got off the reunion cruise to Alaska. Lots of elite and above. No tickets but assigned drinking times in the Constellation Lounge on Infinity. Early dinner seating and select dining were given the first shift from 5:00-5:45 and then the second seating guests were in at 6:00 pm for the Happy (almost) Hour.

Wonderful snacks - Qsine style. Was this just for the Reunion Cruise or fleet wide? Anyone on back-to-back ( I heard there were 40 guests) can verify?

Was on the Millenium and not enough Elites to reserve all the Sky Lounge, just a section roped off. Regular two full hours, lovely CC hostess and service. Convenient for my non-elite friends, they picked up their drinks with their beverage packages from the bar, we "crossed over the velvet rope" and all enjoyed our drinks and view.

That's not very much time for cocktails you have to drink and run and the hours should extend

Second seating is usually somewhere between 8-8:30. Happy hour 6-6:45 seems rather early. Hope this isn't a sign of what's coming. As it is the Elite cocktail hour is early for those with 8:30 seating.

We are Elite. On the last 3 cruises we have received 3 vouchers each which could be used from 5 to 7 pm in most of the bars but not all. There was also a menu on the selections which were available.

Yes, this is what we experienced on Eclipse and "most bars" included the one in the Elite Lounge area deck 12.

We had this a year ago on RCCL Allure of the Seas, but when in the Diamond Lounge, no coupons were required as there was no limit on drinks. The 3 coupons only applied to other bars around the ship. A much nicer idea...

We've been on the Infinity twice and that ship seems to march to a different tune. On our last voyage a smallish group hosted by Park West seemed to have the run of the ship and the Elites didn't know what to expect. We'd be told that the Constellation lounge was available only to be turned away. We never knew where to go so just relied on the coupons. We did miss the relaxing social with like minded cruisers.
