K D cruiser Posted September 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Does anyone know how far it is from EZE to the cruise port? I have a Princess transfer booked, but wonder if the taxi fare from EZE to the cruise port would be cheaper. Is it true that the taxi fares are regulated? Thanks for any information. If you said which airport is EZE it might be easier to answer . Also which port your cruising from.

K D cruiser Posted September 9, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Oooooops. Sorry, it is Buenos Aires and that's where the cruise port is, too. Thanks.
dr__dawggy Posted September 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Taxi Ezeiza's current fare from the airport to the downtown area (the port is near downtown) is 450ARG Pesos (US 48 dollars at the official rate of 9.3 pesos per dollar). That's a per car rate, not per person. So the fare for two people is 24 dollars per person. Look for the blue/white booth in the middle of the arrival hall. (see picture on the web site). http://www.taxiezeiza.com.ar/spa/tarifas WARNING: Taxi EZEIZA's White and blue cabs ARE regulated. Yellow and Black cabs taken from the curb at the airport ARE NOT. Let the Buyer Beware. They will charge whatever they think they can squeeze out of you. This warning does not apply for yellow and black cabs in town or that you may call in advance to pick you up, only for cabs from the curb at the airport. 4774Papa Posted September 11, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Our B&B arranged for a private driver to transport us from the airport to the B&B, which was farther from the airport than the cruise terminal at a cost of $30 plus tip. Try to find a private driver.
