Dates Considered Spring Break 2016

What dates would be considered Spring Break for 2016? Cruising Eastern Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale. Thanks

Mid February through end of March

It can even go as late as the last week in April. That's when NYC schools are out for Spring Break.

The vast majority of colleges are between end of Feb and end of March. Elementary and high school may be different.

Easter is in March 2016 so that could change traditional high spring break cruisers. Just an assumption on my part, but around here spring break is always around Easter.

Our spring break cruise is the week of the 13th. For me I have found doing a cruise during spring break is very Fun and easier than trying to go to a beach or theme park

Based on air fare for our 3/5/16 cruise I would say starts in March thru April. The prices are outrageous!

Different parts of the country have different dates. Your safe after mid April.

A lot of Northeast schools have the week of President's Day off. A lot of ships are full of families. Then there is a week or two break to the beginning of March, where spring break usually goes through April.

 

Usually the first Week or Two of March has a lot of College kids, with school age kids mixing in the second week and a greater amount of school age after that.

 

With Easter being in March, the week directly before and after can be full of a lot of kids as well.
