smokester Posted September 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2015 A cabin available but when you call carnival they say it's not? The same cabin has been available then cruise is sold out then this same cabin available again when doing mock bookingson different days . It's frustrating !
SadieN Posted September 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Are you calling and choosing that same cabin online? You could be inadvertently taking it out of availability.
ready2cruzagain Posted September 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) OP, if you do a mock booking and pick the cabin then call, the agent does not see the room as being available. Do a mock booking right up until the point where you pick the actual room, do not pick the room. Then call and agent will see it. When you pick the room, it goes into limbo for about 15 minutes as being unavailable. Edited September 29, 2015 by ready2cruzagain
Towel Critter Posted September 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Or skip the call and simply book it online.

It's frustrating ! Next time you call Carnival you should ask them as to why a specific cabin is available on the web site yet is not available over the phone. To expect a better answer from this web site is madness.
Towel Critter Posted September 29, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Try again, only enter the cc# in the format required... no dashes, I believe. If your card is good, there is no reason it won't accept it, if entered correctly, unless of course it really is a sold cabin. Or, call Carnival again and hope for a rep that knows what he is doing, and explain what has been happening to you. I hope this is of some help to you.
