Shuttle service to port with infant

Anyone know the best way to get a shuttle to the port when we are not taking our car seat? How does it work with nearby hotels and their service with infants? Thanks

You are not required to have your child in a safety seat on a shuttle bus but they are required in taxis. You have to decide for yourself whether you feel comfortable having your child in your lap. If you schedule a private car service, many of them have car seats that you can request ahead of time.

We would rarely if ever use RCI transfers...but traveling with a toddler is one situation that worked out best for us recently. Otherwise private transfers that offer a carseat may be an option for you as well if you're not arriving day of cruise.

It depends on where your cruise is departing from. Some states require that babies and children be in a car seat in every vehicle including taxis. We bring our son's car seat on every trip and simply tick it in the closet for the week. It's never been an issue.
