am I hearing this correctly? there is no more cupcake cupboard on the oasis? I'd be real sad if this were true!! if so, what happened to it?

You heard correctly. Cupcake Cupboard is no more. The space that it took up is now the Kate Spade store. Cupcake Cupboard and the Ice Cream Parlor were combined and are now Cups and Scoops, located on the Boardwalk (in the ice cream parlor space).

I believe the Cupcake Cupboard is also being replaced on Freedom class.

I think the decorating classes were popular, but probably not profitable enough to warrant the space they had.

Yes, the classes are still offered. I'd assume they're held in the Cups and Scoops space.

We did on our cruise on Freedom. I think DW and I each had one a day. That said, I think the cupcake trend has died down from where it was 5 years ago. There's still demand for them but they aren't the hot trend that they were (as far as I'm thinking, doughnuts are the "it" dessert right now, at least around here). Maybe RCI needs to reexamine the Boardwalk Doughnut concept and reintroduce it?
