A big thanks to Captain van Eerten for job well done today. Backing up and tooting.

 

Had the pleasure of working with him on VODM in 2011 when he was still First Officer. He went up the ladder fast after that :)

I thought I read that Capt. Van Eerten started his 3 month rotation in September, so will hopefully experience his Music on 10/31 in person:):)

There is a volume control on the black framework around the video screen - right beside where it says the number of viewers!:) It's hidden unless you have your cursor in the right spot.

Well, we really enjoyed sailing with him and see why he has been so successful and on top of that he is great with the passengers. A quality not seen that offten.

I can't remember what all the numbers were on the health form, but I do remember one was if you had had nausea or diarrhoea within the previous 24 hours, and another was if you had been in an area where there was Ebola within the last 21 days or something like that. There were probably more. It would be good not to have to tick any of them!:eek:

Don't know if you can see this on the webcam, but the Oasis just had a massive fireworks salute just beyond the jetty. Not quite as good as the one Princess did for the Regal last year, but hey... Fireworks! :D [emoji312] [emoji313]
