We have 6pm first sitting booked for our upcoming cruise. Is it actually 5.30, 5.45 or 6 anyone on board please? Also what time is second sitting? Thanks!

6pm is the second sitting, there is a 530pm and an 815pm option as well listed in the personaliser for Traditional Dining on the Golden

I doubt 6pm will be the second sitting, that would be the 8:15pm sitting.

 

I'm not sure why Golden has two early timeslots but I've seen it mentioned elsewhere in the past.

I guess it isn't really the second sitting , more like a time slot for those who would like to get an early meal I guess? All I can say is they are the three times listed in the personaliser for my cruise in Dec.

The early sitting is the most popular so by giving the sub options of 5.30pm and 6.00pm it helps the staff as a great avalanche of guests do not all arrive at once for the first sitting which is usually a full house .

 

As second later sitting has less guests the dual times do not apply .

My personaliser also has early 5.30pm and 6pm, as well as a late seating for traditional, never noticed it before as we choose Anytime, both are way too early for us.

Bernini 5.30PM - 9.00PM (Anytime Dining)

 

Donatello 5.30 (First Sitting) and 7.45 - 10.00PM (Open Sitting)

 

Cantaletto (Tratitional Dining) 5.30PM ( First Sitting) and 7.45PM (Second Sitting)

 

We have the 5.30 Traditional Dining in Donatello. A little early but the 7.45 is a little late for us.
