Ice Bar on the Breakaway

Yes it is $20 cover charge and you get two drinks with that price, cannot use your drink package to pay. It will be the fastest two drinks you ever drank, it's so amazingly cold in there you just down them in order to get the heck out! But it's very fun and worthwhile to try once.

Posting the menu for the Ice Bar below, they are pre-made martini like drinks (yummy, with a side effect of drunk, lol). We really enjoyed it and will visit again in a few weeks when we sail.

Living in north east PA we don't lack cold weather, so it was more about how long can we "last" in here. :)

(outside of tipping) I'm not one to pay extra on an "all inclusive" but this was definitely worth it. Everyone who enters knows it's freezing but has to remark on how cold it is, and we all laugh together. You have to sit on the ice throne and take pics by the ice Statue of Liberty.

It was fun! We were in there for about 35 min (poor bartender couldn't leave until we left) but he gave us extra drinks after our coupons were gone. It was Halloween/Day of the Dead and we chatted about our different cultures; he wasn't encouraging us to leave. ;) You should try it at least once. :D

Do you h ave to prebook? Or can we just walk in and order?

There is a hostess podium outside where you sign up or something like that. :)

No prebooking, hours are listed on Freestyle Daily.

While we were curious about this, it was disappointing. The "bar" is pretty small, maybe 10x15', and there's basically nothing to do, other than drink your drinks and get out. I recall some of the music in the background being songs like "You're as cold as Ice", to keep within the theme, a few things hanging on the walls, and the Ice Throne. Once you've looked at the pics, spoke the bartender and sat in the throne, well, that's about 5 minutes, and unless you luck into having some other interesting people to start a conversation with, I'd pass on this.

Is the charge for children also $20?

Yes. $20 per person. You can stay in as long as you want, but it's pretty cold. Drink your drinks. Take you photos.

As a side note, we have actually had the casino comp the cover charge for the Ice Bar in the past.
