Rare Hlitner Posted November 6, 2015 #26 Share Posted November 6, 2015 The Milk topic can be interesting. It has long been an issue as to whether it is a good idea for human adults to even drink milk. In fact, we used to wonder if Mayor Bloomberg (NYC) would try to ban milk along with his ban on large sodas :). So just for fun here is an interesting link about milk: http://www.thedailymeal.com/why-you-should-stop-drinking-milk-right-now/013014 Hank P.S. I use lots of non-fat milk in my cappuccinos and DW still loves whole mill
caribill Posted November 6, 2015 #27 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I pretty much have to have a glass of milk before bed at night. they were all closed down at the HC, so told me to go down to the IC. The IC directed me over to the bar next to the IC where they gladly gave me a glass of milk with no charge. Also available from room service. Rare Cruz4Sun Posted November 6, 2015 #28 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I love to order steamed milk with vanilla flavoring from the International Cafe. I show them my coffee card, but they have never punched it for this beverage. Just another option for a non-coffee drinker.
Wichenford Wolf Posted November 6, 2015 #29 Share Posted November 6, 2015 Also available from room service. Just returned from a cruise on Celebrity Eclipse. As well as the various communal containers containing various different types of milk, it was also available in Oceanview Café in those (awkward to get into) Tetrapak small cartons. Thus milk was freely available and easily transportable to cabins, lounges, etc. Do they have milk in cartons in HC (or elsewhere) on Princess? caribill Posted November 7, 2015 #30 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Do they have milk in cartons in HC (or elsewhere) on Princess? They used to, but it costs less for Princess to purchase in large cartons and then pour into glasses. Now and then you might see a small carton from room service, but I would not depend on it happening.
