Kcjarvis Posted November 14, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Great News - Hurricane Kate is now east of us. Talk about a busy sea day, we then went to We Will Rock You at 2:30pm. I will give my thoughts in the Cruise Summary at the end. After the show we went back to the cabin and discovered it was an oven. Maintenance arrived in 5 mins. We had a blockage in the cold water cooling system. The room is now an almost comfortable 68 degrees.

MACE Posted November 14, 2015 #34 Share Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Your review ROCKS! Also enjoy your 'Scopes' (I'm searoadcruz) Our Newlywed Son and his Wife are also on the Anthem with you (they got engaged on a RCI ship) for their Honeymoon! They echo every sentiment you do about the Anthem...they're having a great time!!! Just to make you homesick: It's Sunny and 44 degrees in Westchester County. The Knicks are off after their recent loss, the Rangers are tied with 1-1 with the Senators end of the 2nd, and tomorrow is a must win for the Giants when the Pats visit us at METLIFE. Keep the Awesome reviews coming! Edited November 14, 2015 by MACE

Cruisin' Ya Ya Posted November 14, 2015 #42 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Forgot to note - We were actively tracking Tropical Storm Kate Slightly long wait for an elevator to get us to Owners Suite 12634 Houston - I think we have a problem A quick trip to Guest Services to "fix" the issue Signed up for Voom - $210 with DP discount for 2 devices for the 12 days of unlimited use. 25 Megs at Sea????? AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Then to the muster drill, which took 25 mins due to a technical error with the presentation. Luckily, we were sitting indoors, at the American Icon Grill. I still can't get that "Wash your hands" song out of my head... UGH Do they shut the elevators down and make you go down the steps to get to the drill location? Rare conandrob240 Posted November 15, 2015 #47 Share Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) In your picture on page 2 of the "dancing" at 270- what time was that? I am surprised and a bit disappointed at how empty it looks. One of the things we liked most about Breakaway was how lively it was until the wee hours of the night- I was hoping being a NYC area based ship that that lively atmosphere would be similar Thoughts? Kcjarvis Posted November 15, 2015 Author #49 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Thanks for the first impression. Been on the Anthem some weeks ago and enjoyed it!Can you confirm that WOW bands are no longer free? If you have a chance, ask if you can re-use them on another cruise (if they can be re-programmed). Thanks and have a great cruise! $4.99 and you can reuse them
