Carnival Spirit - are doors hinged or sliding?

They do advise to leave the doors out to the balcony closed.

This is because of the air conditioning throughout the ship and it can effect a pressure build up. If you do have the door open , be very careful opening the cabin door into the hallway. the pressure build up will make it difficult and when you do get it open there will a sudden rush of air. We tried it once and all the papers on the desk took off and went flying out into the hallway.:D
