Cabansail Posted December 10, 2015 Author #51 Share Posted December 10, 2015 Nice photo's, I thought Freddy Mercury was dead So did I ..... This was one of the Shows on Radiance called "Killer Bee" which is a Queen tribute band. This guy did have the look and the moves. I would love to go to a class onboard and learn how to get off "auto". :) It was fun giving lessons too. Unfortunately it was right at the end of the cruise as it too a while to orgainise. It had to get the OK from the Photography team to make sure there wasn't a conflict. Then it took time to find a venue and a time in the schedule. Who Cares? Posted December 10, 2015 #52 Share Posted December 10, 2015 The cheapest I could see equated to about $10 when the currency was converted. At that price it put many off having even the occasional tipple. In many cities, a $10 drink would be considered cheap!
Cabansail Posted December 10, 2015 Author #53 Share Posted December 10, 2015 In many cities, a $10 drink would be considered cheap! I guess it would be the same as a Pint of Guinness in a tourist pub in Dublin. However this is for a low end lager.

north29 Posted December 10, 2015 #56 Share Posted December 10, 2015 Went to Chef's Table tonight. All guests were Aussie, but it was still good. Food & wine were excellent, even if they tried to charge me twice. That I did not like, but most can drink me under the table LOL
Cabansail Posted December 10, 2015 Author #57 Share Posted December 10, 2015 Nice birds, can you share the settings with us I will have to look at the EXIF when I get access at home. It is a composite image. We had shearwaters that were flying around the bow while we were waiting for the sunset, so we were taking a few shots of them. I did not have the right lens with me, the longest I could go was 70mm. Then we all shot the sunset while I helped others to control their exposure. I would think I would have shot that one at 24mm, f2.8 or f4, ISO100 and a shutter speed in excess of 1/60th. At the final talk we got on to Post Production and I did a demonstration of how to combine the various images into the desired composition and then blend the layers together. Some were amazed that even while doing this slowly to show each step it took a bit over 5 minutes.

Cabansail Posted December 11, 2015 Author #62 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Just had a look at the EXIF on that sunset shot. I was a bit out. For the Sunset the settings were Focal length was 70mm, Aperture f4, Speed 1/1000th and ISO 100. The birds were the same except with a speed of 1/400th.
