Podie Posted December 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2015 I love Jack's Shack and other bars on the beach. The people are incredibly friendly! Don't stay in the tourist village!
Cruiser 4 Life 66 Posted December 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Thanks for the tip. I might have to make Jack's Shack my place to hang out for the day when I visit Grand Turk next month.
bakersdozen12 Posted December 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 25, 2015 How far is Jack's Shack from the pier? We are doing a sting ray excursion next July, but I'm hoping that if we get back to the pier early (which I think we will), that we have time to walk to Jack's for a little while. I want to at least get to meet Topher. [emoji4]

Beeslilmama Posted December 29, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Is the walk down the beach or is there paving? My mom has some difficulty walking long distances or on uneven ground.
Familycruisers20 Posted January 3, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Is the walk down the beach or is there paving? My mom has some difficulty walking long distances or on uneven ground. The walk is down the beach line, but you could go on the paved street. My inlaws actually did the walk down the beach, but grabbed a cab for the quick ride back. They can't walk as far. We love Jacks! Been there 3 times. Tip, go on other side of freighter pier right there at Jacks and there is some really good snorkeling and conch shell/sand dollar findings.
