Gym locker use on Freedom

The answer to your question is no. These are meant to be 'fluid' for passenger use throughout the day. As these are complementary they can be under quite a bit of demand at some times of the day.

I wonder if they installed new lockers on Freedom in the recent dry dock. The Liberty locker room' lockers were in very poor condition on a recent Liberty sailing. Many locks were not in working order and most had just given up and were just using the benches and open lockers for temporary storage and did not bring valuables.

I had sailed on Liberty on a TA and several cruises in Europe and never had a problem.

The spa manager said they had had a problem on recent sailings where guests would actually keep keys for the entire sailing. They would take the key and leave a seapass and then go to guest services and just get another seapass. They had decided that they were going to start charging guests that did not return the key from the next sailing and apply a daily charge of $10 for keys that were not returned.
