Drink Packages

We have cruised with MSC twice. Once West Med and the other TA. Both times in YC. On the TA cruise we bought a book of drink vouchers for use in other bars on the ship but found that it was not a real bargain.

The drinks in the YC areas are really good but if you can afford the YC a few extra dollars on your OB account for premium drinks or other expenses should not really bother you.

Thanks for your reply, my concern was should we up grade to the premium package prior to boarding. If the drinks in the Yacht Club are of quality and we want a premium grade then we of course pay the extra. As you stated if you can afford the Yacht Club what is a few extra dollars.

Drinks packages don't apply to YC - only for outside the YC enclave - so a premium drinks package wouldn't qualify for premium drinks in YC.
