Broadcast of National Championship Game 1/11/16?

Will the National Championship game be broadcast onboard the Caribbean Princess on Jan 11? We once watched the Academy Awards on MUTS. Very fun and memorable evening.

Not sure, but in October and November on the Crown we only got NFL games, no college

It was last year on the Emerald. Great seeing the Buckeyes win while cruising in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.

If the ship has MUTS, it generally is shown. Ditto the college bowl games around New Years Day.

This is one thing that I would like to see changed. Why doesn't Princess show NFL games in the cabin? They do show them in the lounges. Is it to generate more revenue? LOL

They show very few US network programming

They do have ESPN, ESPN2, MSNBC, FOX News, etc. The days they had NFL in the lounges you could not get ESPN in the cabin. The next day you could get ESPN in your cabin. So, them showing very gew US network programming is not a valid reason.

Was just on the Grand from 11/25-12/10. We had ESPN, ESPN2 and some other sports channel on our cabin TV! Got to see the OSU Buckeyes vs. Michigan game (great outcome!! :D), as well as the Big 10 championship game and many other college games on our 2 Saturdays. There were also NFL games on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays - all on the cabin TV's. Several NFL games were also shown on MUTS on game days/nights.

I educated the cruise director and captain about how american football is a social experience and got them to reverse course and show NFL playoff games in a lounge rather than just in cabins when sailing the Pacific Princess several years ago. If there are games you really want to see and expect many others will also, make a point of asking! The championship game surely should be shown in a large venue.
