Costa Maya Beach Cabanas

We haven't ported in Costa Maya since 2006, are there any private beaches/beach clubs that offer private cabanas? Information I've found online seems to all run together or be out of date. Last visit, we ventured into town but there wasn't much there. Maybe things have changed. Thanks and happy cruising all.

I think Blue Kay has cabanas, but not sure if these are available to day guests. Maybe mitsuigirly knows.

 

None of the other spots have them some have palapas.

 

You'll find the malecon changed tremendously as you were there shortly after the hurricane roared through. You'll still see some hurricane damage around. But Cha Chi next to the cruise port is closed. And there's no longer the Cat's Meow restaurant, but then it was long gone by 2006.

Maya chan has private areas but it is outside of the malecon area.

 

I think the cabanas at Blue Kay are more camping cabins and are not on the beach but set back.
