ziggy39 Posted December 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2015 Apologies if this question has already been posted. How strict is RCCL on age in regards to their kid's club? We are cruising on Allure in Feb with our 2 boys, age 13 and 11. Their ages will put them in 2 different groups and I'm sure they will want to be in the same group. Does anyone know if RCCL would allow them to be in the same group?
Clarea Posted December 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2015 All depends on how crowded the groups are. If the group you want a child to move into is full, they will be strict.
cb at sea Posted December 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2015 They are more likely to move the older child down, than to move the younger one up. They will see each other frequently...but the activities are suited to the age groups. Give it a try before you do the shuffling thing.
gerif Posted December 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2015 The best you could hope for is to have the 13 year old move down a group.
njm5378 Posted December 18, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2015 It may be a non issue. Our kids meet in the kids club the first night to make friends and then are rarely in there. They spend time with the friends they met, in the pool or on the sport court and at other venues where the age separation is not in effect. It will only affect them in the actual Adventure Ocean area. We have been on many cruises where the age groups were combined due to low numbers.
