fishywood Posted December 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2015 Looks like the yahoo travel writer was desperate for a story and found the press release from this guy's book in the archives. Because his experience working on ships was in the 1990s. Ancient history by today's standards--it has been quite a few years since crew working hours were curtailed (along with the free-flowing alcohol) and mandatory minimum rest periods instituted.
